[Testo dell'editore].
Today's globalized context and its consequent multiculturalism shows remarkable similarities with the world in which St. Paul lived. We are called upon to confront individual or collective human mobility and St. Paul can be taken not only as our model but also provide us an incentive to a fuller engagement in encounters for dialogue and mutual appreciation. St. Paul's astonishing missionary activity and his ability to open up to the wider world brings him much closer to contemporary men and women. The distinctive content of St. Paul's preaching is better understood once the words he uses, his communication strategies and the dynamic nature of his apostolic style are closely examined. Today as in St. Paul's times, witnessing our Christian faith (kerygma) should be a help and not a hindrance to peaceful coexistence among peoples. [Publisher's text].
